“Pokuszenie | Temptation”
„Pokuszenie” to cykl siedmiu nasyconych kolorem, typograficznych obrazów. Punktem wyjścia do ich stworzenia stało się zestawienie siedmiu cnót kardynalnych i teologicznych (wiara, nadzieja, miłość/miłosierdzie, roztropność, sprawiedliwość, umiarkowanie, męstwo) z siedmioma grzechami głównymi, które stają im na drodze.
Każdy obraz analizuje napięcie pomiędzy dążeniem do „najlepszej wersji siebie” a pokusami, które w codziennych, pozornie drobnych decyzjach odciągają nas od obranej ścieżki. Kolor staje się tu językiem wewnętrznego konfliktu — poszczególne barwy symbolizują konkretne słabości, a ich proporcje wizualnie pokazują, która z nich dominuje i najmocniej zagraża danej cnocie.
Wystawa nie ogranicza się do doświadczenia estetycznego. Integralną częścią ekspozycji jest również element aktywizujący widza, który pozwala wejść w projekt bardziej osobiście. To subtelne zaproszenie do konfrontacji z własnym „Jestem” — do zatrzymania się i zadania sobie kilku niewygodnych, ale potrzebnych pytań. Szczegóły tej interakcji będzie można odkryć wyłącznie na miejscu.
Podczas wystawy będzie można również nabyć unikatowe inkografie z limitowanej serii — wyłącznie 20 egzemplarzy z każdego obrazu, w formacie 80 × 80 cm. To kolekcjonerskie reprodukcje najwyższej jakości, wiernie oddające kolor, detal i charakter oryginalnych prac.
„Pokuszenie” to wystawa o człowieku — o Tobie, o mnie i o tym, co widzimy w lustrze.

“Temptation” is a series of seven color-saturated, typographic paintings. The starting point for the project was the juxtaposition of the seven cardinal and theological virtues (faith, hope, love/charity, prudence, justice, temperance, courage) with the seven deadly sins that stand in opposition to them.
Each painting explores the tension between striving to become the “best version of ourselves” and the temptations that pull us away from that path through seemingly small, everyday choices. Color becomes the language of inner conflict — individual hues symbolize specific weaknesses, while their proportions visually reveal which temptation dominates and most strongly threatens a given virtue.
The exhibition extends beyond a purely aesthetic experience. An integral part of the show is an interactive element that allows visitors to engage with the project on a more personal level. It is a subtle invitation to confront one’s own “I am” — to pause and ask a few uncomfortable yet necessary questions. The details of this interaction can be discovered exclusively on site.
During the exhibition, visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase unique fine art prints from a limited edition — only 20 prints of each artwork, in 80 × 80 cm format. These are high-quality collector’s reproductions that faithfully preserve the color, detail, and character of the original paintings.
“Temptation” is an exhibition about the human being — about you, about me, and about what we see in the mirror.

Maja Abgarowicz-Walker
Maja Abgarowicz-Walker (ur. 1988) — artystka wizualna, absolwentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie (Wydział Grafiki). Dyplom magisterski obroniła w 2015 roku, wzbogacając go o aneks malarski — cykl anatomiczny w intensywnej, wibrującej kolorystyce.
Tworzy obrazy i kolaże analogowe, traktując je jako przestrzeń eksperymentu, intuicji i wielowarstwowego przekazu symbolicznego. W swojej twórczości poszukuje wizualnego impulsu — fascynują ją kontrasty, mocne kolory i napięcia znaczeniowe. Jej prace znajdują się w kolekcjach prywatnych w Polsce i za granicą, m.in. w Stanach Zjednoczonych.
Zawodowo związana jest z projektowaniem — pracuje jako Lead Designer w branży marketingowo-technologicznej, łącząc strategiczne myślenie z artystyczną wrażliwością. Wierzy, że obraz staje się pełny dopiero wtedy, gdy wywołuje emocje i prowokuje do refleksji.

Maja Abgarowicz-Walker (b. 1988) is a visual artist and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (Faculty of Graphic Arts). She received her Master’s degree in 2015, complementing it with a painting annex — an anatomical series rendered in intense, vibrant colors.
She creates paintings and analog collages, treating them as a space for experimentation, intuition, and layered symbolic expression. In her work, she seeks a strong visual impulse — drawn to contrasts, bold colors, and conceptual tension. Her works are held in private collections in Poland and internationally, including in the United States.
Professionally, she is also active in the field of design, working as a Lead Designer in the marketing and technology industry, where she combines strategic thinking with artistic sensitivity. She believes that an image becomes complete only when it evokes emotion and invites reflection.
